La història
Classical SUFFERRE 'to carry from beneath' was irregular, so spoken Latin moved it into the regular -ĪRE class. The old meaning 'to put up with' survives in English insufferable.
Parents en anglès: sufferance, insufferable; offer, transfer (FERRE)
